My Project
As a special education teacher, I work with students who face unique learning challenges and require a quiet, focused, and safe environment to thrive academically and emotionally. Currently, I share a single classroom with another teacher and their students, which means my students are often working amidst noise and distractions that make it difficult for them to concentrate.
Your generous donation will help me purchase room dividers to create a more inclusive, calm, and focused learning space—something that is often taken for granted but is truly transformative for students with special needs.
Even more importantly, my students often need to work on academic tasks that are significantly below grade level. Having to complete this work openly in a shared space can cause embarrassment and impact their self-esteem. To foster a more respectful and nurturing environment, I’m seeking support to purchase portable room dividers that will allow me to create a private, quieter learning area within our shared classroom.
