This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with children that are 3-4 years old. I want to help them understand feelings and the world around them with engaging books. I have a diverse set of children so have chosen books to help assist in the diversity to make all children feel welcome.

My goal for this project is to provide children with books for me and the children to read and learn about feelings, construction, vehicles, the weather and about who they are through stories.

My children are special because I have an inclusive classroom with mostly children with special needs. Having visuals for them is an important aspect in the classroom. Visuals through books is a great way for children to understand what I am trying to teach them.
