My Students

Our students are book lovers and full of pride for their school. They are curious, creative, and will change the world. Griffin is a place where each student is encouraged to do their best and we give them the skills and opportunity to go above and beyond expectations.

My Project

Our library does not have any place for students to work. The goal is for students to use the stairs and seating around the library, with the surf desks to extend our learning space. The building is new, but architects did not provide any classroom space to the library. This leaves us with room for books and not much else. The plan is to use existing furniture outside of the glass library walls to create a learning space for classes and students who visit during the day.

These 10 desks will allow groups to have a place to work besides simply a chair or the ground.

It is a small start to get all of our students a place to work and engage with the library space.
