Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After completing state tests or final exams, students often face mental exhaustion, stress, and emotional strain. Having game cards and board games available in the classroom during this time is more than just a fun activity—it is a powerful tool to support students’ mental health and well-being. These games offer a healthy outlet for students to relax, socialize, and engage in creative play after weeks of academic pressure.
Board and card games help students decompress, build positive peer relationships, and enjoy meaningful, low-stress engagement.
They promote communication, teamwork, and emotional balance—key components of a supportive classroom environment. By making space for laughter and play, we help students feel seen, valued, and cared for.
