A Day as an Architect!

Help me give my students a fun experience as we turn into architects and design new construction using our area and perimeter skills!

My Project

Watch as we become architects as we design and build new construction with our new area and perimeter skills. We will dress in our hard hats as we enter the classroom worksite. We will design our own creative construction while staying within the area and perimeter guidelines. After our design is finish, we will build our construction on a poster to display our skills.

The items requested will not only make this day fun, it will allow us to practice in a hands on project the skill of area and perimeter.

They will also allow continued practice in small group and independent practice time to strengthen our skills beyond the unit.
