My students need a paper shredder to ensure confidential information for special education children are disposed of correctly. We also use the cutting board on a daily basis to make flashcards and other learning tools.
Our special education class is filled with a lively group of diverse kids. We have 11 children that come from 6 different cultural backgrounds. We live in a rural community with limited resources.
I am a special education teacher with students that have a variety of learning disabilities.
Our classroom provides a smaller setting to give students with specific learning disabilities a better chance at success. They are young learners with so much potential. We hope to provide them with the necessary tools they need to reach their dreams.
My Project
Our students have individualized educational plans, behavioral plans, data tracking on their goals, and other important documents that when completed need to be shredded to keep information confidential.
We also use flashcards regularly and other learning tools that need to be cut before and after lamination.
The paper cutter speeds up the prep work allowing for more planning time.
We start school in the summer months and classrooms can get into the 90s. The fans will allow students to stay cool while learning and help them focus on classwork and activities.
The storage shelves help keep their supplies stacked neatly for easy access in our classroom closet.
