This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are so excited to learn about other countries and cultures around the globe. They love to peek into how people from around the world live: their favorite foods, flags, habitats, dress, customs, and most favorite forms of art. Students love to create art inspired from what they learn about people from around the globe and see their art mounted and displayed around the building for their families and friends to experience.
Our paper that comes in bright colors used traditionally by many colors is often very large and needs to be cut to sizes manageable for creating, yet our current paper cutter is worn and needs to be replaced by this new paper trimmer.
This new trimmer will allow our students to not only learn about people and art from around the globe. The trimmer will also bring their learning to life as they create and mount their work throughout the building for them and their community to observe and discuss.
