My students are amazing, kind leaders who are high achieving and very smart. I have the amazing opportunity to teach them. They challenge me to think creatively and be prepared to answer higher order questions. They are curious and quick learners.

My students are industry driven students who focus on culinary arts. In our program, we have the opportunity to learn about the restaurant industry and the many careers in it. My students are primarily focused on becoming chefs.
My students have me thinking of different ways I can challenge them and have them dive into my subject area in a way that prepares them for their future. They want opportunities to extend their learning. My goal is to provide them with as many opportunities as I can.
My Project
One of my goals as a teacher is to provide my students with the best learning materials possible. I am building a culinary classroom library. These materials will be the first books added to it.
Each book was selected because it will provide students with knowledge about professional techniques and recipes.
The books will be used to enrich our classroom curriculum. We will be using certain recipes from these books. Recipes for our advanced culinary class are hard to come by. Professional recipes require a certain caliber that you cannot find on food blogs.
