A Cricut of Our Own

Help me give my students our own Cricut Explore Machine to personalize items and make crafts in the classroom.

My Project

My students and I have been using our PTA's Cricut machine to personalize items in our classroom and stay organized. We would now like to have a machine of our very own. My students will use it to unleash their creativity and to stay organized.

For example, they will create their own "PE Pockets" (which are personalized zippered pouches) to keep track of the coupons they earn in PE.

They will help me created personalized water bottles to stay hydrated in the Texas heat. They will also use it to create personalized class shirts to build community but also show creativity. We will use it during social studies for creating crafts to reinforce the concepts we are learning, too. For example during Thanksgiving they will create a gift to show someone they are thankful for them.

My students will have more ownership of our creations and the ability to be creative with projects throughout the year, thus increasing their self confidence and having an outlet to be creative. Purchasing a newer Cricut model will also enable us to work more efficiently as we create our new projects.
