Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is full of vibrant, energetic, autistic, nonverbal students. Autism is a disorder that is characterized by difficulties in social interaction, verbal, and nonverbal communication, as well as repetitive or restricted behaviors. Every student in my classroom is a unique individual, each with his or her own strengths, challenges, and perspectives. My students bring a fresh and unique way of seeing the world. They are eager learners, passionate about their interests, and resilient in the face of challenges. With the right tools and support, my students can achieve anything they set their minds to.
A Cricut machine in the classroom would help my students design and create fun and inspiring crafts throughout the school year.
It would help them create inspiring learning spaces and lessons, promote creative expression and hands-on learning, and support STEM education (https://www.cricutforschools.com/k12-teachers-bundles). This would be a beneficial investment that would support my students in discovering their inner artists and further develop their creativity.
A Cricut machine would be a great addition to our classroom. Students could create customized t-shirts and posters to showcase their school spirit and the lessons they are learning. With my students, we would also be able to work on other awesome projects that will last a lifetime and help them make wonderful memories.
