Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As graduation approaches, I want to support my senior art students with more than just a celebration—I want to equip them with the tools to continue their creative growth beyond high school.
These students have spent years developing their artistic voices and skills in our classroom, often relying on school-provided materials.
By giving them personal art kits as graduation gifts, we are not only recognizing their accomplishments but also reinforcing the importance of continued artistic expression and learning.
Each art kit will include essential, high-quality supplies that students can use for college portfolios, freelance work, or personal creative projects. This gift is a purposeful extension of their education—supporting ongoing engagement with the arts, building confidence, and helping students stay connected to their passion for creativity in the next stage of their journey.
