it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My beautiful, thoughtful, and creative students are mostly from Richmond, San Pablo, and neighboring cities. We even have a large population of students from other countries which makes our school even more amazing! Even though these places have reputations and challenges, my students continue to shine through the negatives and create positives in their lives. They are eager to learn and eager to grow!
My students are quick to greet me with hugs, insight, compliments, and new stories to share.
I am inspired by their willingness and passion to learn. I am determined to get them what they need to guarantee a wonderful and successful school year!
My Project
With new Big Joe bean bag seats, yoga ball chairs, new basketballs, soccer balls and kick balls and a Canon digital camera my students will be able to use their creativity in the classroom, play organized sports games outside and have a comfortable reading environment in the classroom. All resources will help improve their learning experiences, nurture their skills, and introduce new talents. Everything asked for, in one way or another, will contribute to the growth of every student while also creating lifetime memories.
With your donation, we will be able to create a comfortable reading and learning environment for all students to enjoy, plan fun outdoor activities and create lasting memories.
Our creative writing time will grow into lessons teaching students how to turn their stories, poems, and academic rap songs into media visuals (music videos). Outside equipment will make PE time more fun, exciting, and engaging. New seating options will help us create a comfortable reading and learning environment.
