it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every classroom should have a cozy reading corner. This is an area where students can sit down, relax, and enjoy a book. Having a space like this is perfect for promoting reading and encouraging students to choose a book over technology.
I want to create a cozy corner in our classroom where students can sit and enjoy a good book.
As they read comfortably, they will be working on developing important fluency and comprehension skills. Reading books for pleasure also helps improve vocabulary development. Having a new rug, floor seats, and a beanbag chair will be a perfect addition to our classroom. They will be used daily by students and can also be used for sitting to write or meet with peers on projects.
