My students love to read around the room! They love to read with their friends and share what they’re learning. We need a soft, warm place to call home when we meet and when we read.
There is nothing better than finding a cozy spot to read and cultivate your love of reading.
My students work so well together and are so grateful for the special time we set aside each day to read and discuss our learning with each other.
Please help us create a cozy space with a rug!
I chose a rug that is in a circle for a very specific reason. We meet in the morning and frequently throughout the day to have classroom discussions. Our meetings are meaningful and will be led by students. The shape of the rug is important because a circle allows every student to be involved, they will be able to see everyone else, remain focused, and participate in the discussions.
I chose a rug for this project so my students have a defined, cozy space to sit.
Our tile floor can become very cold and I hate the thought of students having warm, meaningful conversations on a cold floor.
