A Cozy Classroom Project

Help me give my students a warm and inviting environment for learning. These new classroom materials and seating arrangements will encourage my students to remain engaged and comfortable while learning.

My Project

At the school where I work, we have small class sizes that allow for differentiation based on each student's needs and ability to move their bodies and learn away from traditional seating.

Like most teachers, a lot of my students (as well as myself) have some depth of ADHD which does not compute with needed to sit still.

Students being able to move their bodies around the room, as well as fidget, allows their brains to remain focused on the take of learning.

Students will also benefit from new classroom materials and visual resources as they start to learn more complex math that guides them toward high school topics, such as algebra and calculus. Graphing calculators are not required for this type of math but are incredibly helpful for students.

I strive to provide a classroom environment that is conducive to all students' needs for learning and provide a comfy and light learning environment to help them feel relaxed and engaged.
