My Students

I teach a range of learners in a Title I school. My classroom is only ELA and Social Studies so I have multiple groups of learners throughout the day. My students vary in their needs, abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles. Though they are all very different from one another, they share a commonality. They blow me away day after day with their willingness to learn and their desire to try new and hard things.

My Project

The learning environment - how the room looks and feels - matters so much to learners. Right now our room is looking a little rough and could use some TLC!

Our classroom has not had a refresh in quite some time - we need to update bulletin boards and the class environment.

We would use the printer to print pictures of the kids and decorate the room with their faces. We would use the lights during quiet reading time or independent work time to keep the room calm and relaxing.
