This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I will be teaching in a new school with a new classroom! This rug is a great way to gather my students together. We would love a place to sit while doing mini lessons. Additionally, the carpet is a great place for students to gather together for a read aloud, even in third grade! With students sitting close together, they will have the opportunity to discuss and collaborate with one another.

My students would love a bright, welcoming classroom to walk into.

This rainbow carpet would be the perfect welcome!
