My Project

My students work incredibly hard every day to improve their math skills, and I want to create a space that feels nurturing and inviting. To make our small group instructional areas more welcoming, I'm requesting cozy Foxmas rugs that will provide a warm and comfortable space for learning. Cozy spaces help students feel safe and focused, and these rugs will turn a cold, plain floor into a fun and welcoming environment to learn and enjoy math.

In addition to making the space more engaging, I'm requesting a mobile magnetic board to support hands-on, interactive math lessons.

This board will allow me to model strategies and organize student thinking in a visual, accessible and adaptable way. Also, students will be able to demonstrate their learning by using it as their vertical whiteboard.

I would also like to provide prizes to recognize and reward students for their progress and perseverance in math. Whether they have mastered a new concept or shown great effort, these rewards will help keep motivation high while celebrating their hard work.
