This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of energy. They love to express themselves through art, storytelling, and hands-on learning. However, many of them also face challenges regulating their emotions or staying focused throughout the day.

This project will provide resources to support both their academic and emotional needs.

The Crayola markers and crayons will encourage creativity and support writing, drawing, and literacy tasks. The dry-erase markers and easel will help make learning visual and interactive. The Cricut machine will allow us to create custom labels, visuals, and tools that organize our space and keep students engaged. The calming corner items—soft cushions, mindful mazes, and motivational pillows—will offer a safe space where students can breathe, reflect, and reset when they feel overwhelmed.

Each resource in this project is part of a bigger vision: a classroom where students feel inspired, supported, and excited to learn every single day.
