A Computer Lab In The Works?!

My students need 6 mice and 6 keyboards for the computers in the school computer lab.

A computer lab in the works?! I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th graders totaling 140 students, in an urban Middle School. The computer lab is just about as ancient as can be, and day by day things are breaking. The computers that we are using are currently 10 years old. In a time where technology is a huge part of society, new equipment is desperately needed.

Some of the keyboards in the lab are currently missing keys, and some of the mice are missing the trackball. My students become easily frustrated and it upsets me. I want to provide my students with the best opportunities available to them.

6 new keyboards, and 6 new mice would be so valuable to our classroom. Learning how to use a computer is important to my students, because it will provide them with skills needed for future jobs and assignments.

Some families cannot afford to have a computer in the home, so as a teacher I try to provide the best education that I can to my students. Many students look forward to computer class, because they enjoy learning hands-on.
