This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful, enthusiastic learners who are just beginning their educational journey. They are excited to learn and explore, and I am excited to lay a strong foundation for future learning. Our school is entering its third year, and we are growing quickly, so we need so much to help us continue our journey. Being in a low-income area presents some challenges, but I know we will rise above them and make all of our supporters proud! I hope you will consider supporting my fantastic class and I as we embark on this exciting adventure.

My Project

My wonderful students have begun their school year. We are already seeing students coming in unable to afford their school uniform. When students come into school wearing their uniform they have this proud and prepared way that they carry themselves. All of our students deserve a chance to come into school in a pair of crisp, clean khakis and a blue polo to give their day the perfect start.

All of our students deserve to come into school with their most basic needs being met.

Unfortunately, families cannot always provide that on their own and sometimes need a little help. That is where our care closet comes in, to provide pants, shirts, socks, underwear and other basic needs. With help from donors, this project will replenish our supply, so that our families can start the year off right.
