This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this project, we are hoping to get a Cricut Venture to involve our young digital learners in creating a community we all want to be a part of.

Using a Cricut machine in an elementary school for community service projects can be a creative and engaging way to teach students about giving back and creating a strong school community at the same time!

Here are some ways the Cricut Venture will be used:

Personalized Cards:

Students can create personalized cards using the Cricut machine. They can make cheerful cards for seniors in nursing homes or classmates who are sick.

Use the machine to cut out intricate shapes and letters to add a special touch.

Decorate Donation Bins or Boxes:

Organizing a donation drive, use the Cricut machine to cut out vinyl letters and shapes to decorate collection bins or boxes. This not only encourages donations but also adds a personal touch to the collection process.

Classroom Banners for Causes:

Each class can design and create a banner using the Cricut machine to raise awareness for a particular cause or charity. This can be a collaborative project where students work together to design and assemble the banner.

Customized T-Shirts for Charity Events:

Organize a charity event or fundraiser and have students create customized t-shirts using the Cricut machine. This not only raises funds but also gives students a sense of accomplishment and community involvement.
