My Students
My students are full of life and ready to learn. They are active, loveable individuals that strive to do their very best. We work on social skills, pre-academic skills, fine motor skills, large motor, speech and language, self-help skills, and so much more!
Many of my students need extra support through a specialized program that provides a structured learning environement.
This is used to meet their individualized needs and strengthen their abilities.
When they leave my classroom they are ready to conquer kindergarten!
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Our Pre-K students love to learn during centers and flexible seating will allow them focus on their work instead of their seat. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting in a chair.
