This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, my Pre-K kids rest in the classroom. Our mats are old, ripped and worn down. Sleeping helps them to recharge and helps their minds and body grow.

Most of my students come to school tired because they did not get the appropriate amount of sleep at home.

They struggle with keeping their eyes open and focusing on their day. All my students deserve a clean and comfortable place to sleep.

With new clean mats they can rest their minds and bodies and be ready to start their afternoon learning.
