My Project
This carpet will be used during morning meetings for social emotional learning activities, large group instruction, independent reading, mindfulness exercises and calming breaks.
The carpet will help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment by fostering a sense of community and collaboration, encouraging active participation, engagement and teamwork between my students.
The specific designed seating will allow the teacher to intentionally group students based on their learning needs, strengths, or personalities, promoting collaboration and team discussions.
Additionally, this carpet will help students feel more comfortable, making it easier for them to share ideas, ask questions, and listen attentively to the teacher or one another.
