This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me give my students these items that will take my classroom to the next level. I teach students with high support needs. With this, comes challenges such as sensory processing disorders and more. I plan to use the couch in our library center that the students can have access to daily. This will provide them with a comfortable area to read and use technology on. The weighted blanket will help with meeting sensory needs and help with regulation.

Having these items will give my students a comfortable place to foster learning while meeting sensory needs.

The students will be so excited for this addition to our classroom.
