An adjustable group table enhances student learning by fostering collaboration and accommodating diverse needs in an Integrated Co-Teaching Classroom (ICT) Its adaptability promotes dynamic group interactions, enabling students to customize their workspace for comfort and engagement.
Our goal for this project includes improving ICT classroom dynamics, enhancing student participation, building equity, and creating an inclusive environment that supports various learning styles.
The adjustable table will be used for small group instruction which allows for individual attention and addressing specific learning needs of each student. This table will increase student engagement and foster active participation and interaction, promoting a more engaged learning experience for all students.
Special education students and those from low-income households may require additional support. Special education students often benefit from personalized accommodations, while students from low-income households may face external challenges that impact their learning. Addressing these unique needs ensures equitable access to education for all students. This adjustable group table will help boost students' confidence by providing a comfortable space to express ideas and ask questions.
