Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from all different walks of life. I have so many students who can’t afford basic school supplies, so it is up to me to provide that for them. My students have the want, love and drive to learn and get a higher education with the proper tools. My students are focused, amazing, hilarious and loving. They just need the tools and loving teachers to get them where they want, and deserve to go! A lot need a helping hand and I want to be the one for them.
My Project
Most of it is basic supplies for them. Things that will make my classroom more exciting, like materials to make anchor charts for their use, as well as a printer for them to use, as well as me, to print off assignments or projects because a lot of them don’t have printers at home. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. These items may seem silly to some, but they will help inhance my classroom. It will provide that homey, safe feeling all students need and want in a classroom.
