This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students have never been in a classroom; oftentimes, my classroom is where they are exposed to learning for the first time. It is so important that they enjoy the learning process. I want their environment to be a place where they want to be, and where they are excited to come daily!
An inviting, fun, colorful, and welcoming classroom is vital!
Research has shown that many aspects of the classroom environment can affect student motivation.
Students who are motivated will put more effort into learning! I want to support the social, emotional and instructional elements of my classroom through the use of color and inviting decor.
