My Project
My students walk into my music room ready to sing, move, learn, and explore! They are creative, curious, and full of energy—and I want to give them a space that supports their growth and excitement for music.
Help me give my students a vibrant, educational music rug that will transform our classroom into an inviting and interactive learning environment.
This rug is not only colorful and fun, but it's also designed with musical notes, symbols, and a keyboard pattern around the edge—tools that will help reinforce important music concepts in a hands-on, visual way.
My students attend a Title I school where many face daily challenges outside of the classroom. For many of them, school is their safe haven—their primary source of love, stability, and community. In my music room, I strive to create a space where they feel seen, supported, and inspired to express themselves.
This rug has been on my classroom wish list for some time, and I know it would make a lasting impact on how my students experience and enjoy music. It will give them a welcoming place to gather, learn, and grow together through the power of music.
