Help me give my students tools to take better notes and stay organized!

My Project
My students come from a variety of backgrounds- from lawyers to housekeepers- but when they enter our English class we become equals. Most of my students are students of color, from poor families who cannot afford gym clothes for track. Sadly, many of my students are forced to miss classes because they have to work to help support their households.
These supplies will help my students by giving them the tools they need to be successful students.
We use a lot of flashcards for vocabulary terms relevant to our reading. These items will support their learning, as well as give positive reinforcement (who doesn't love scratch-n-sniff stickers). Many of my students are language learners or students with special needs. They require paper copies of assignments and notes. Often our school copiers are broken, so I took it upon myself to purchase a classroom printer. The ink for the printer is a little pricey, but it is necessary to help me ensure that my students' needs are met. Finally, because our school is so large, our custodian team is not able to clean each classroom every day. The floor sweeper will help us keep our classroom cleaner for a longer period of time.
These students matter so much. They overcome a lot of adversity to get where they are. When a simple pencil is like a Christmas gift, how can I deny them? They are eager learners who bring with them a lot of knowledge about the real world. These supplies will only reinforce their understanding of how much they matter. In turn, they can use what they have learned to make the world a better place to live.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
