My Students
My students are all from low-income homes and receive free school lunch. For the majority of my students, English is not their first language and they struggle to learn English but they always try their best.
My students come in every day with wide eyes, ready and eager to learn.
They like to move, they love to explore and love lots of positive attention. They are our future, what better way to encourage them to grow and learn than from using new and unfamiliar materials.
My Project
My students deserve to have a clean and healthy looking classroom. Working in the Bronx the air quality and smell often times is not the best. We try an keep our classroom environment as clean as possible. Having 18 children in the class where they eat in 3x a day is often a hard task to keep up with.
our student's health is very important for their health.
We plan on using the air purifier all year round for those students who have allergies and asthma. We want to also to use the steam mop and hand held vacuum for easy and quick cleanups.
