Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergartners attend a Title 1 public K-6 elementary school. Many students come from homes that are dealing with difficult issues, including poverty. About 85% of students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. In turn, some students do not have access to materials that can help them be more successful in the classroom. With your help, I can provide my kinders with access to supplies that will help provide them with the best educational experiences this year!
My Project
My students are in need of basic supplies and materials that we can utilize in the classroom. In my classroom, I love to engage my students by having them be involved in hands-on activities and centers that help my students become more independent and make learning more meaningful for them. However, with COVID, I need to make sure that students all have individual supplies and are socially distanced during classroom activities. Please help me provide my students with the best first year of school possible but in a safe way. Thank you for all your support!
