Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One key to success, in my opinion, is creating a classroom environment that culturally represents our students and does so in a welcoming way. Our classroom walls are filled with posters, artifacts, and spa-like decor to help students feel safe and appreciated.
Creating a functional yet welcoming space for my students is important because they enter the room and instantly feel loved, supported, and safe.
The resources requested in this project are all products to help keep us clean and safe. We are requesting mops, dusters, rags, wipes, and masks. All of these items will be used by myself and the students to ensure that the aesthetically pleasing space we've created together is physically safe as well.
