A Clean Robotics Lab Is a Safe Lab!

My Students

The students who attend my high school are very similar to the students with whom I grew up. They each have their own challenges but for the most part, they work hard and want to do the right thing.

Our school serves students in grades 9-12 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment.

The students are diverse in every sense of the word. They have a real love of technology but the school is severely lacking in the technology to get them to the next level.

My Project

Our FIRST robotics FRC Team engages students in the ultimate project-based STEM experience. Students develop and apply skills in math, computer science, physics, and engineering, as well as participating in public relations, budgeting and finance, and community outreach. Since 2014, the team has seen consistent growth in the size and commitment of our team and our achievement at the First Robotics Competition.

We are part of an urban, public school and are committed to creating an equitable and non-cost prohibitive program for our students.

Sponsor contributions keep the program active and accessible to all of our student members. Please help us keep our promise to our students and our program growing.

The cordless vacuum will be used to clean the lab tables that get messy with dangerous metal shavings.
