As a teacher, in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom.
My students are an amazing group of 3rd graders that are eager to learn and explore.
They are living a growth-mindset philosophy, embracing the new learning experiences and challenges, and are ready to stretch and grow their brain muscle. Children are like sponges, ready to soak up everything. It is my pleasure and duty to help shape their precious minds to love learning and be successful.
My Project
My students desire and deserve to work and learn in the cleanest learning environment possible. Every day, students eat breakfast and snack in the classroom.
Despite our best efforts, this often includes milk spills and crumbs.
We are in need of wipes to clean the desk and floor. Without proper cleaning the milk spoils and creates an odor. We also need a vacuum to get those crumbs that only a little critter would see. Students need to be in the best possible learning environment. With the addition of essential oils, the classroom will have a clean aroma for working and learning.
