Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A clean classroom is essential. Having a clean and welcoming space keeps students excited about learning. My 4th graders love working on our 2 classroom rugs. Having a new vacuum for the classroom will ensure the rugs are kept free of leaves, crumbs, tiny pieces of paper, and more.
A clean rug will give my students a place to collaborate, work, and read.
They will also be able to engage in STEM activities on it comfortably. A clean rug will give them a place to plan and build different types of structures.
In addition to a clean rug, I am asking for Swiffer Wet Jet supplies to help keep our light-colored flooring clean. My students eat breakfast in the classroom, and the floor sometimes gets spilled on. During rainy days, footprints often make their appearance. I can keep the floor clean with a Wet Jet mop. Lastly, the disinfecting wipes will keep students' desktops clean. This will help prevent the spread of germs, which will keep my students in school and learning.
