Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My English tenth-grade students are all recent immigrants who are learning English as their second, third or even fourth language. My students are from more than 20 countries and speak more than six different languages.
My students are amazing recent immigrants who work part-time jobs, take care of family members, play sports and attend our after-school programs.
My students travel from all neighborhoods of the city to pursue their dreams and achieve their postsecondary goals.
My Project
Help give my 10th grade English classroom these essentials to stay safe and clean as students return to full classrooms of 20-30 students for the first time since March 2020.
Your donation of cleaning supplies, electronic wipes, and hand sanitizer bottles will allow students to keep their workspaces and Chromebooks clean in our "new normal."
My high school students are excited to be back in school with all their friends. Your generous donation will ensure that all students stay safe and have access to the cleaning essentials our classrooms need.
