A Clay Throwdown: Spinning at the Wheel!

Help me give my students an opportunity to explore their creative expression with clay and glaze.

My Project

My students are in grades 4-8th and to advance our clay skills we would like to venture into stoneware clay to produce fine dinningware. My students are ready for this because we have developed our hand-building skills all year and are ready to create fine dinnerware on our ceramic wheel.

What makes our students special is their willingness to persevere through any challenges for their learning.

This project will help expand their skills around a potter's wheel. I hope the piece produced from this project can be used in art competitions and our very first art market.
