My Project

I am a new Spanish teacher. At the end of this year, I will finish my second year of teaching. I love my job, my students, and my school; however, there have been many things that my school has not supplied to me. I have had to purchase my own teacher desk, supplies, and I even share a room with the choir teacher. Again, I truly love my job, but not having many necessities has caused me to spend a lot of my own money to get them.

I am creating this project because my classroom needs a whiteboard.

We only have a small whiteboard on wheels. I would love to have a large one to mount onto the wall, so that we could use it for notes and even a calendar. This would benefit my classroom more than you can imagine.

The other items in my cart are just for practicality in my room. The tray station would be for turning in papers. The tiny jail would be for phone jail. Haha! No phones! The biggest need is the whiteboard.

My students are wonderful. They are hard workers from low income families. I watch each of them strive to build a better future for themselves. They are kind, caring, and just well rounded kids. The kind of kids that give you hope!
