This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I work with students who are learning English and adjusting to a new culture while also facing personal and academic challenges. Many of them come from low-income families, and for some, school is the most stable part of their day.
I want to create a classroom that feels safe, calm, and full of encouragement.
A space where every student feels like they belong. The decorations I’m asking for will help build a welcoming environment that supports learning and emotional well-being.
Simple things like colorful bulletin boards, positive messages, and cozy touches can make a huge difference.
