A Classroom Supporting Differentiation, Explicit, Universal and Organizational Needs

Help me give my students flexible seating to learn comfortably, the math manipulatives to scaffold their understanding, home notes to share and celebrate their daily accomplishments, and organizational tools for their first year teacher.

My Project

Have you ever stepped into a classroom and said to yourself..."Wow! I can definitely thrive in this type of learning environment. Where were all these resources twenty years ago?" Parents, like myself, would love for every parent/guardian of my fourth graders to have that experience when walking or hearing about our classroom.

Positive, safe and effective learning spaces are essential for students to academically thrive.

Providing math manipulatives to enhance understanding and clarity, flexible seating for those who can focus easier when sitting in comfortable chairs, positive praise with home notes to boost students' self-esteem and for parents/guardians to celebrate, accessible literacy resources for students to use independently to strengthen their writing and comprehension skills, and tools to keep the classroom organized and operational will help to create this ideal learning space.
