This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach students on the alternate curriculum with different and unique disabilities. My students are enthusiastic and always eager to learn. Most of the students in my classroom are working on individual IEP goals and having an organized area in the classroom to file work, goals, and data would be very beneficial for my students. Also, a positive classroom environment will help motivate the students to push forward and always try their best!
Posters with words of encouragement will remind them that they can achieve anything they want to despite their unique needs.
My Project
These items will help promote an organized, positive, and motivational classroom culture for all my students and myself. As a teacher, it is my job to make the classroom welcoming and motivational. The classroom is the place most kids would consider their second home. Having motivational posters and nice boarders/ wall paper to decorate the classroom will motivate students. The classroom is where students and teachers spend most of their day. Therefore, a positive and productive classroom climate is critical. Most of the time I need to buy my own classroom decor and it really limits what I can do with my room. This is why I need your help purchasing these materials to create an organized, positive, and motivational classroom for my students.
