This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of the students in my classroom struggle with sensory processing issues, and we’ve seen firsthand how sensory tools can improve their ability to focus, regulate emotions, and engage in learning. We are in need of items such as weighted blankets, fidget toys, sensory balls, and noise-canceling headphones to better support their individual needs.
These materials will allow my students to have the sensory support they require to feel comfortable and stay engaged in their education.
With your help, we can make a significant difference in their ability to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
