Help me give my students the gift of a calming classroom environment with the calm peacock boarders. A classroom that flexible seating with the wobble chairs and exercise ball. Materials that help keep myself and them organized, too!

My Students

I have a special education caseload of students who have been identified as having numerous disabilities classified under IDEA. These students come to my academic support class with the purpose of working on IEP goals, solidifying knowledge in their four core areas, as well as being in a safe space.

These students are part of the 70% of minority students at the school, and most come from low-income households.

My Project

We are moving into the third marking period and most of my students still do not have folders or notebooks for each core subject class. I want for them to be able to take the notes that are required to be successful, and be able to organize their materials by class! These materials can be taken home to study and do homework, so all material is in one place!

The wobble chairs and bouncy ball would be monumental for my wobbly and bouncy students!

All other materials help me help my students and keep them organized, calm and happy in the classroom.
