This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 5th grade students come every day with the desire to succeed in everything they do in class, they have developed a sense of ownership for their learning.
This is a group of TITLE I which 43% is English Language Learners, several of them need focus on Social Emotional area, My students will have an educational opportunity enhanced to the next level through the spplies requested in this grant.
My students will have a Classroom calm down corner, a sensory pouch for ech of them, and an enhanced classroom library to strengthening their achievement.
Nearly all my students come from low income households. They are respectful and caring with the supplies and tools they are provided to and learn.
My Project
This project's goal is to improve our working stations and our class library resources, filling gaps in our resources and materials. I will be able to provide my students with more organized time out breaks using the appropriate supplies, my students will be able to get creative and express themselves through art. I have included in my list several educational games to be played for indoor recess, as well as equipment for productive, cooperative Art time. This will encourage students to lead
With these art supplies, students will be able to engage in creative lessons that allow them to learn ways to help regulate and manage their emotions.
These books will help students find a way to distract themselves from things that may be making school hard.
