Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second graders come from various backgrounds but all are enthusiastic about learning. Our classroom environment is welcoming to all their unique qualities. Students are always eager to learn new things and excited to participate in class activities.
Our second graders are creative, inquisitive, and have a great potential to learn.
It is my hope to meet each student's individual needs as well as their personal goals.
My Project
A classroom library is an essential part of cultivating a literacy rich environment. Enhancing our classroom library will ensure that books are readily accessible for all of my students in their independent reading levels. My group of unique personalities will enjoy having the freedom to explore in their search for the perfect book.
I strongly believe that providing a multitude of book choices in the classroom will foster and encourage a love of reading in every child.
Including diverse texts in our library will ensure that students can make connections and find delight in our daily reading experiences.
Donating towards these new books and bins will help create an inviting reading space that sparks the curiosity and interest of every unique individual.
