My Project

I teach Math to two wonderful groups of third graders. I love to keep students engaged with theme days full of math skills and fun. This upcoming Valentine's Day would be the perfect opportunity to review graphing skills with heart themed hands-on activities.

Student engagement and learning soars during themed activity days!!

The conversation hearts will be used for a graphing activity that will include sorting, tallying, and graphing. They will love creating bar graphs and pictographs using the "heart" data collected. Students will analyze and share their results with partners. The heart shaped sunglasses and lollipops will add to the excitement of the day!! Thank you for helping make learning fun and exciting in our third grade classroom!!
