This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is made up of English Language Learners and students with disabilities, each of whom faces unique challenges in their educational journey. Many of these students struggle with accessing resources outside of school, making reliable classroom technology essential to their success. An iMac would provide the perfect tool for research, writing, and creating projects in a simple, easy-to-use environment. Its speed and accessibility features will allow students to practice language skills, explore educational software, and engage in creative work, helping them learn in ways that are tailored to their needs.

My goal for this project is to ensure that every student, regardless of their background or abilities, has access to the technology they need to thrive in today’s digital world.

With this iMac, students will be able to work independently, collaborate with peers, and express themselves through multimedia projects that reflect their learning. This shared resource will not only support their academic growth but also help build their confidence in using technology to enhance their education.

What makes my students special is their resilience and determination. Despite facing challenges, they are eager to learn and always strive to do their best. This iMac will empower them to take charge of their learning and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
