Most of the students attended the same elementary school and have been friends for several years. To them, their classmates are close like their family. They support and help each other along the way in their journey of learning. They are creative, innovative, and curious. Our school is a Title I School. Many of our students come from low income families; all of our students receive free lunch. Many of them will hopefully be the first in their families to go to college. Over half of them do not speak English at home, and for many, English is not their first language. Most of them are ELLs (English Language Learners). The diverse student population helps the students to embrace differences and bring in learning opportunities to one another.
The chromebit and the wireless keyboard will let us to have easy access to the web. Students already know how to use Chrome OS in the classroom. With this stick computer, it is easy to keep anywhere. We can keep it on the projector, without having all the wires and the trouble of setting up.
The keyboard and chromebit stick will allow us to have readily available technology in the classroom.
This will allow us to have access to internet as well as Google Suite of Office tools at anytime on the big screen. Students will be able to show off their google presentations. We can use the google search to look up images and articles right on the screen. This brings learning from outside of books into our classroom.
